Phrase is a group of words that
does not contain a subject and a verb. A phrase may consist of one word or
more than one word, or phrase is a unit of grammar.

A clause is a group of words
containing a subject and a verb. Or clause is the main structures of which
sentence are built. A sentence contain at least one main clause (independent
clause), it may also contain subordinate clauses (dependent clause).
